Phyllis Rudin has lived in the US, France, and Canada. Her award-winning short stories have appeared in numerous Canadian and American literary magazines. She lives in Montreal which serves as the landscape for all her fiction.
Read her story Candlepower. It won first prize in This Magazine's Great Canadian Literary Hunt in 2010. Or, you can listen to the podcast of her story Family Geometry at Bound Off: a Monthly Literary Audio Magazine.
Check out her blog Purple Roads à Montréal that documents her demented effort to walk the length of every street on the Island of Montreal.
